Server

The server position holds the most accountability on the floor. This position is responsible for superior knowledge of the menu, allergy awareness, the POS system, wine list, cocktails, beer selection, etc. As the leader of the service positions the server must exemplify the highest standards of excellence in hospitality and service. 
Key Tasks:  Lead by example, provide excellent service and a memorable dining experience Have thorough and detailed knowledge of all menus including the beverage program Have excellent allergy awareness and knowledge of all possible interactions Attend all scheduled food, beverage, hospitality and service training sessions Preserve and maintain the daily cleanness of the restaurant Complete all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties as assigned Ensure the service stations are well stocked with all mis-en-place Complete all daily side work Extensive knowledge of the POS system and place orders correctly Ability to interact with guests on a positive level and handle any and all complaints by involving a manager Supervise and work alongside the support staff Work as a team and assist those around them Promptly and effectively complete all monetary transactions Be attentive and professional at all times Achieve guest satisfaction through the highest quality of service and attitude Comply with and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.  Understand and comply with all state and local alcohol laws including checking all guest identification Requirements * Flexible availability
