Responsibilities for server/bartender: Participates in completing the daily Bar Prep List which includes all Syrups and Fresh Juices Follows all Opening & Closing Side Work Checklists setting each shift for success and when closing has a "leave no trace" mentality so nothing is left undone for the next shift. Maintains and cleans all bar equipment each shift and at our quarterly Restaurant Cleans. Completes all assigned Running Side Work including Sanitizing and Polishing Glassware Helps complete the Bar Prep List at the end of each shift Has a complete understanding of all Food & Beverage Menu offerings and ability to provide recommendations based on the guests likes and dislikes Verifying the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages Taking orders and handling cash/credit card transactions Barback duties include but are not limited to washing glassware, refilling juices/syrups, restocking beer/wine, bussing tables, and clearing the bar Bussing and resetting tables Running food and beverage Server/Bartender Requirements: Multitask between guest experience and service Able to lift 50lbs Must be skilled in serving high volume Must be skilled in excellent communication and teamwork Must be skilled in various bartending techniques Must showcase the ability to stay calm under pressure Must showcase excellent organizational skills Must showcase the ability to keep the workspace clean and tidy Must showcase impeccable social awareness and customer service Must know and implement sanitation procedures Must be able to maintain a well-kept uniform Puerta will offer a full-service dinner and late-night menu, both focusing on the celebration of Mexican cuisine and spirits. The dinner and late night menus will feature fresh and bold flavors using traditional old world techniques. The bar will spotlight Mexican-made spirits, beer, and wine.
