Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team! This role requires a leader with strong tax knowledge and attention to detail. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of our tax filings including preparation, planning, and research.
Position Overview: The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for planning, reporting, and compliance of taxes across multiple companies. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for corporations/ businesses, partnerships, individuals, and trusts. Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliant and accurate filings. Advise on tax planning opportunities and strategies. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current and proposed tax legislation. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Prepare and respond to government notices. Assist in the resolution of tax audits. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA required (OR ability to obtain CPA within 3-6 months) Masters in Taxation a HUGE PLUS 3+ years of experience in tax preparation, planning, and research. Experience in the retail, real estate, and/or construction industries a plus. Experience with individual, business, 1120, and 1120S taxes required.
