Read more:careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Position SummaryThe Material Operations Senior Specialist will support the Site Supply Chain organization through the development and execution of supply for BMS's autologous clinical and commercial products.The Material Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for the leadership and support of various projects within the Supply Chain department, ensuring established procedures are routinely reviewed and updated for compliance, developing departmental metrics and KPls, driving change management execution, and implementing new processes that support the overall mission of the Bothell manufacturing site. As a member of Bothell Supply Chain, this position routinely collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives and goals.Duties/ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead Bothell Site Supply Chain compliance programs and processes.Support Bothell Site Supply Chain in collecting and analyzing data to improve processes, reporting, and communication.Lead cross-functional initiatives that ensure clinical and commercial readiness of the cell therapy programs.Serve as the project manager for Supply Chain projects and operational excellence initiatives.Own and drive completion of change controls, deviations, and CAPAs.Serve as SME for Supply Chain organization for all quality records.Manage timelines, escalate critical issues, and maintain status dashboards.Develop process flow diagrams, process outlines, and documentation to assist in evaluating and optimizing operations.Coordinate between site-level and global colleagues on implementing new projects, representing the interests of Site Supply Chain in project teams led by other functions.Identify strategic and operational issues both internally and externally, developing proposals, outlines, and implementing solutions.Seek and support continuous process improvement projects both within the department and across site initiatives.Manage creation, implementation, and compliance for all documentation, procedures, and policies.Build and maintain positive relationships with all functions at the Bothell site, as well as with external customers and stakeholders.Champion and foster a positive and successful collaborative culture, aligned with BMS existing culture.Perform other tasks as assigned.Reporting RelationshipReports to Senior Manager, Material OperationsQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient knowledge of current GMP regulations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledge of quality management systems – Veeva Vault preferred.Highly organized with self-initiative, able to make sound decisions with limited supervision.Microsoft Office Suite experience required.Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, information systems, business management, or related fields. Advanced degree preferred.7+ years of relevant work experience required in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries.2+ years of experience working with Quality Systems.2+ years of experience in project and/or program management.Project management and process improvement is preferred but not required (Lean, six sigma, 5s, PMP).he starting compensation for this job is a range from$75,000 - $95,000,plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job isperformed.
