Senior Sox Compliance Analyst

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a Senior SOX Compliance Analyst . In this position, the successful candidate will play a vital role in upholding the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) for our company's financial reporting. This is a full-time onsite position and can be based out of our office location in Morgantown, WV or Houston, TX.  What You Will Be Doing: Manage and execute the annual SOX 404 compliance process, including control design, risk assessments, testing procedures, and remediation efforts. Partner with business process owners to ensure a strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting. Conduct detailed walkthroughs to test the effectiveness of internal controls. Prepare and maintain SOX compliance documentation, including control narratives, testing results, and issue logs. Collaborate with external auditors to address control deficiencies and ensure a smooth audit process. Stay up to date on the latest SOX regulations and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the SOX compliance framework. Your Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CIA designation a plus. Minimum 3+ years of experience in SOX compliance, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data entry and analysis. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, colleagues, and stakeholders. Must be able to perform light work – exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.     See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.   Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.  Infinity Natural Resources is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
