Here, you'll have the opportunity to build a powerful foundation for America's future and yours.What we're seeking:In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our 610 N Morgan St Tampa, FL 33602 location to complete your work responsibilities.What we need in you:In this role, you will be customer facing and provide deep product and technical knowledge of Frontier portfolio. You will also interface with various Frontier engineering departments and product management teams to ensure proper solution design.What you'll do:Sales Related Activities:Follows company sales methodology and processesComfortable with and very willing to participate in any customer-facing engagementActively lead or assist in all opportunities as assigned by Solutions Engineering managementDevelop and deliver effective convincing professional presentations at any level within an organizationDrive incremental revenue by developing and maintaining key technical and business relationships that best position Frontier's capabilities and integrated value propositionFrom a technical perspective,and in coordination with your sales counterpart, manage the communication and internal cooperation of Frontier resources in Sales, Support, Operations, Legal, and the company's executive team to drive sales successMaintain current knowledge of Frontier competitor's offerings and be prepared to respond with differentiators ("value wedges") for each opportunityProperly and accurately prepare and present a "technical handoff" for the customer's solution from the Sales area to the company's implementation/support teamsDiscovery & Solution Design:Using a consultative selling approach, accurately identify customer business issues, determine customer desired outcomes, and design a technical solution that maximizes the use of Frontier products and servicesCommunication:Develop and maintain a positive internal and external working relationshipSolid verbal and written skills (considered above average to excellent)Comfortably walk through a technical explanation verbally or on a whiteboard (e.g. not using PowerPoint)Learning:Maintain a solid working knowledge of Frontier products and services, including any required internal or external certifications as defined by Solutions Engineering managementMaintain familiarity and adherence to all Frontier methods and proceduresWilling to actively mentor others in the organizationAdministrative & General ExpectationsSuccessfully complete all assigned products, services, policies, and other training as assigned by managementOn-time completion of quarterly objectives (MBOs) and reports that may be assigned by managementTrack time/activities as may be defined by Solutions Engineering managementAdheres to the company's expense control policyDocuments activities and other items in the company's CRM system in a timely mannerMeets all assigned deadlines especially as it pertains to deliverables to a prospect/customerAbility to travel is a base job requirement and varies by region. Some of which we're most proud to offer include:Salary Range: $65,000 - $139,00020 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per yearDay one medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plan401k match of 50% on 6% of eligible compensationSame-sex spouse and domestic partner benefits coverage10 weeks of paid parental leave, 3 weeks of paid caregiver leave, and up to $10k in adoption program assistanceWhat background you should have:At least two to three years of customer-facing experience, or equivalent, in the technology industrySignificant experience including a background in commercial telecommunicationsBackground in solutions selling managed services is preferredExperience in SD-WAN, Cloud (Google Cloud, Azure or AWS) etc. is a plusProven track record of establishing and solidifying strategic relationships with key customers and partners, while representing suites of complex IT, IT services, and/or advanced availability solutionsAbility to effectively analyze a customer/prospect's business process, leveraging an understanding of end-to-end business models and salesSelf-starter with experience leading medium to large dealsExhibited skill-set, capabilities, and hard-hitting determination to drive through actions in partnership with management/business unit partnersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience in a technical service or product support role with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalentA minimum of 2 to 5 years supporting complex customer requirements assessment and solutions developmentA minimum of two years of technical services, pre-sales support experience or equivalentIdeally at least two years of telecom, managed hosting services (especially focused on disaster recovery), networking experience, or equivalent.Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects is requiredThis role requires effective listening, written & verbal communication skillsEffective presentation skills to all levels – ideally proven CxO level presentation expertiseMust have a valid state driver's license and clean driving recordTechnical Skills - Required:Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IPv4 and 6, etc.LAN, WAN (including SD-WAN), and security designInfrastructure: Network, non-circuit designs/wireless, VPN, IP(Subnet) addressing/VLAN, load balancers, IDS/IPS, switches, routers, etc.Technical skills – additional desired skills:Active certification in Google, AWS or Azure Cloud services preferredActive certification in MEF/Ciena (Ethernet)Disaster Recovery in the Cloud is desirableSolid working knowledge of cloud-based disaster recovery strategies and methodologies is preferred.Managed Hosting Services delivery, technologies, and concepts.Network security methods, appliances, and systems.Understanding/experience with a commercial CRM system such as Salesforce, SAP, Siebel, SugarCRM, etc.Understanding/experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Frontier salaries are estimated by third parties and may or may not reflect actual or total compensation.
