As a Senior Prototype Fabricator at Zoox, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering prototype parts and vehicles. You will work with internal clients from Vehicle Development, Compute/Firmware, Advanced Hardware Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering alongside your teammates to deliver first-of-a-kind parts and prototypes. You will be a hands-on contributor; building prototypes with core fabrication skills like: MIG welding, TIG welding, Press Brake, Sheet Metal Forming, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe, Fixturing, CNC Plasma, Waterjet, and Acrylic Laser cutting. The salary range for this position is $40/hr - $70/hr. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
