The 9th Way Insignia Program Management Office (PMO) provides project management support to our contract delivery teams, and governance support to corporate stakeholders. The PMO team works with senior leaders to define standards, maintain compliance, and support organizational change and growth through planning, process improvement, resourcing, project monitoring, and project control. The PMO team plays a critical role in aligning Project Managers and project teams with the organization's objectives and the direction from senior management.
9 th Way Insignia is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join this team. Professional Level Information:
A Senior Project Manager aligns to the Manager professional level within 9 th Way Insignia's career families. A Manager accomplishes department objectives by managing staff and processes and evaluating department activities. A Manager is responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of a unit, division, or department. A Manager requires skills and qualifications such as exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Functional Job (LCAT) Information:
A Senior Project Manager must have experience managing Information Technology related projects. Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies. Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks. Responsibilities: Work closely with PMO team members and corporate stakeholders to document requirements and develop processes and policies that support the organization both operationally and strategically. Leveraging experience and best practices, identify critical and emerging issues related to organizational project management practices; providing recommendations and leading improvement initiatives. This effort includes performing systematic and periodic reviews of the organization's Process Asset Library (PAL). Work closely with the business development team to transition projects to delivery in anticipation of an award. As part of this effort, the Senior Project Manager will utilize existing documented processes, but is also expected to identify areas for process improvement and lead those efforts. Serves as the Transition Manager, in a Project Manager capacity, to develop staffing, finance, government communications and deliverables for projects before and after contract award. In this capacity, the Transition Manager works closely with corporate stakeholders to achieve transition milestones and target objectives for readiness. After award, the project manager establishes and fosters customer relationships. Work closely with the Quality Manager, PMO resources and corporate stakeholders to align processes, policies and activities to industry standards and various management and quality methodologies such as the PMBOK, ITIL, CMMI, and ISO. As needed, provide direct support to other project managers and delivery teams through the development of deliverables, products, briefings and other activities as required. Build and maintain close working relationships with corporate business functions and delivery teams to foster collaboration and issue resolution. As a member of the PMO team, participate in the design and development of internal tools that improve project management and inform senior leaders in support of decision making. Working with delivery team members and the Business Development team, participate in solutioning discussions and proposal development for existing and new business opportunities. Leveraging previous experiences and relationships, contribute to the improvement of the organization's understanding of target customer's organizations, strategy and vision. Provide mentorship to junior project managers and other team members. As needed, directly contribute to the monitoring and tracking of various data through the use of existing and future tools. Requirements: 7+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 1 year of management experience Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $85,318.00 - $135,000.00 9 th Way Insignia's range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
