Position: Senior Marketing Content Manager
Job Summary
As a Senior Marketing Content Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in capturing and sharing transformative moments that define our business and the broader industry. With access to subject matter experts, you'll tap into their deep technical knowledge to create engaging stories that resonate across the modern data team. You'll translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that highlight the strengths and innovations of our technology. Your ability to do this will enlighten and inspire our audience. You'll strategically seed stories across our channels, ensuring they captivate the right audiences at the right time.
Qualifications
Visionary approach to content creation, demonstrating the transformative potential of Postgres in every piece.
Strong writing skills with the ability to find compelling angles in any topic.
Proven track record in crafting compelling social media copy, long-form content, and earned media articles.
Understanding of SEO principles and content performance metrics.
Growth mindset, enabling you to tackle various writing projects effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with stakeholders.
Experience with developer content and community platforms such as Reddit, Medium, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or journalism, focusing on B2B technology and data industries.
Preferred
Familiarity with the Postgres community and ecosystem.
Experience working with developers and technical subject matter experts.
Ability to distill complex information into compelling stories.
