We are looking for a Senior Liquidity Transactions Specialist to join our Global Private Markets team and help write the next chapter with us. Based out of our South Jordan, Utah office this individual is responsible for providing world-class strategic client solutions, deal lifecycle management, identifying product solutions, and leading operational execution for private company liquidity events. Additionally, this position will guide and mentor a team of transaction specialists ensuring core processes are efficient and effective at promoting strategic client outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with sales, technology, and product teams to build the best possible software enabled client experience for our customers. Responsibilities:• Directly lead deal planning and execution for private company liquidity events• Manage communication with senior decision makers at client companies and law firms• Serve as a Sr. project manager overseeing deal requirements, timelines, and reporting• Coordinate client coverage and deal pipeline management directly with Liquidity Sales• Leverage Client Success Management to augment support for liquidity events• Successfully deliver client based liquidity solutions to enhance overall client relationship• Partner with product and development teams to enhance liquidity product offerings• Identify automation opportunities to drive scale and reduce risk for liquidity business• Proactively identify operational issues and drive business wide solutions• Provide training and mentorship to Liquidity Transaction Specialists Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree required• 5-8 years experience in capital markets, banking or financial services• Previous experience supporting financial software based solutions• Ability to project manage complex events• Ability to work through ambiguity and drive clarity for your team and stakeholders• Ability interpret legal documentation, equity plan documents, and tax guidance• Strong analytical background, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities• Certified Equity Professional (CEP) completion is an asset, but not requiredMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
