Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst, will play a pivotal role in supporting the Treasury and Asset Liability Management (ALM) functions, combining expertise in finance, accounting, and data analytics to contribute to strategic decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Asset Liability Management (ALM) Support:
Conduct thorough analysis of the bank's balance sheet to assess interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital adequacy. Analyze data and trends to develop and enhance assumptions for the company's IRR model. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on ALM metrics and trends for management review. Treasury Operations:
Assist in the management of the bank's cash position, ensuring liquidity needs are met efficiently. Monitor and analyze liquidity trends and forecasts Support the execution of treasury transactions and manage associated documentation. Data Analysis:
Utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from financial data, aiding in decision-making processes. Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on the bank's financial performance. Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data quality and streamline reporting processes. Financial Reporting:
Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and assist in external audit processes. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to finance and data analytics. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Team oriented, possess a positive manner and work well with others Ability to prioritize; handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines; and work independently Skillful at establishing priorities and channeling efforts productively Ability to be well organized in a fast pace environment of diverse responsibilities Demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment and good judgment with handling confidential information Supervisory Responsibilities: None Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, accounting, or data analysis.
