Senior Estimator - Timberline, Commercial, New Construction

Commercial union contractor servicing the Chicago areas. Making long-lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and employees. Seeking Estimators with experience in Ground-up Commercial construction (High-Rise, Hospitality and Institutional) 
What You Will Be doing: Prepare accurate quantity surveys Apply established labor production rates to the quantity survey to obtain labor estimates   Secure pricing from vendors and subcontractors for new estimates and contracts that have been awarded Review project estimates with VP Sales and Estimating prior to submitting bids  Provide training and coaching to Estimating staff Maintain/update Project Management in Timberline  Perform variety of Project Management activities throughout the lifecycle of the project  What You Need:  15+ years of industry experience Strong negotiation and bargaining skills  Strong organization skills and ability to multitask Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Window, Timberline, Quickbid, Bluebeam) Ability to review and analyze schedules and determine manpower  What's In It For You: Competitive salary Annual Bonuses Employee Stock Option Plan 100% Employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vison 401k Vacation/PTO Benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
