We are recruiting a Senior Distribution Manager to lead our wholesale warehouse operations team . A n experienced leader in fast paced, ever-changing environments, the Senior Distribution Manager will overhaul our existing system informed by gap analysis to implement systems of efficiency and accountability while overseeing daily wholesale operations . Ideal candidates will have full cycle supply chain experience with P&L accountability in a high-growth, highly regulated warehouse setting.
This is a full- time , salaried position based out of our location in NE Portland, Oregon . Monday through Friday , with shift availability varying between 11 :00 a m - 9:00 pm depending on business needs.
Key duties include: Oversee supply chain and logistics for wholesale cannabis distribution center Responsible for product intake and processing into databases, with full accuracy as dictated by company compliance and accounting departments Maintains full compliance with OLCC with respect to evaluation, handling, storage, selling, and tracking of products Accurately monitor all p ackages upon intake by using METRC, Canix, LeafLink , and other systems as necessary Work with Operations Team to implement procedures and processes for daily operation of Inventory Control Ensure that all product is tracked and labeled appropriately in compliance with State regulating agencies Perform regular physical inventory audits of all production environments and storage vaults to verify accuracy Make any necessary adjustments to Inventory resulting from audits within 24 hours after physical count was completed, following Company guidelines for documentation of adjustments Work with IT or Tech support with any issues that could arise with the software Work with Operations Team to anticipate and maintain sufficient levels of Unique Identification (UID) labels for plants and packages Work with Operations Team if additional labor is needed to assist in counting Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies and create a variance report for Operations Team and Accounting for each inventory count Required Qualifications Proven track record of managing a distribution and warehouse operati ons Demonstrated experience with data driven process innovation and gap analysis 5+ years of experience with inventory control Knowledge of Microsoft Office Basic m athematics skills Self-motivated and goal-driven team player Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions to inform recommendations and decisions. Ability to obtain a Marijuana's Handlers Permit. Abili ty to rem ain compliant with all legal and company regula tio ns r e qui red for working in the cannabis space. Have interest in the cannabis industry and be culturally aligned with Groundworks' mission. Must be 21 years of age or older. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit and kneel daily in retail and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and, in some instances, staircases. Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily. Ability to maintain focus and memory in environments with distractions such as heavy foot traffic, background noise due to public conversations and the gathering of people, etc. Absent conditions that would prevent the occasional use of PPE such as safety glasses, dust masks, etc. Ability to sit at a desk and work at a computer for several contiguous hours.
