We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead-Bioinformatics with a strong background in Bioinformatics and a passion for Research and Development. Primary Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain data pipelines to extract data from a variety of sources and populate data lake and data warehouse.

Develop the various data transformation rules and data modelling capabilities.
*
Collaborate with Product Analyst Data Scientistsand Machine Learning Engineers to identify and transform data to make data understandable.
*
Experience in implementing data quality checks maintain data catalogues use orchestrationloggingand monitoring toolsdata analysisinformation architecture concept and implementationGit for version control and understand various branching strategies
*
Use test driven development methodology when building ELT and ETL pipelines.
Required Experience and Skills:

Solid experience with AWS services S3IAMRedshiftSagemakerGlueLambdaStep FunctionsCloudWatch
*
Experience with platforms like DatabricksDataiku
*
Proficient in Python or JavaSQLRedshift preferredJenkinsCloudFormationTerraformGitDocker2 to 3 years of Spark PySpark
*
Good communication and SDLC documentation skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between
$ 90,000-$120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
