Senior Civil Engineer Qualifications and Experience:
A Professional Engineering license in the United States/Canada is required.
At least 8 years of experience in the civil industry is required (specifically developing grading, drainage design and 3D modeling, roadway geometric design, design of accessible public spaces, preparing construction/transportation and local agency permit documents).
At least 2 years serving in a project and/or design management role for roadways is required.
Prior consulting experience is preferred.
A passion for multimodal and active transportation design is preferred.
Experience in business development is preferred.
Heavy knowledge and proficiency in Computer Automated Design (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and design software (Civil 3D, GEOPAK or InRoads).
Senior Civil Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
You will be leading and supporting an interdisciplinary team to create sustainable multimodal transportation infrastructure in a wide range of contexts from complex roadways and streetscapes in highly urban settings to signature trail projects that highlight and enhance the natural environment.
You will have opportunities to independently manage and lead company projects in your home region as well as to support projects across our North American offices.
Youll be at the table with clients and colleagues from a variety of disciplines, delivering projects from concept to construction; including stakeholder outreach and charrettes, developing feasibility studies and concept plans, and preparing construction documents for innovative projects throughout the country.
You will also be participating in business development and project pursuits and support the firms quality initiatives. In an industry that is constantly changing, youll be at the forefront of delivering creative solutions to challenging projects.

$105,000 to $205,000 depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive benefits package.
