Responsibilities
• Provide business, financial, and programmatic support to SSN(X) program office• Perform financial analyst services including data gathering, budget and financial analysis, and trend analysis• Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets• Collect and review financial data from various sources• Coordinate with customer and field activities to establish funding priorities• Track and reconcile funds obligation and expenditure status• Respond to financial data calls• Develop briefs for decision makers• Manage and delegate tasking to other financial analysts
Requirements
• DoD Secret security clearance• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field• Three or more years' experience directly supporting a Navy customer in a business or financial capacity• Seven years of experience as a financial analyst for the DoD and at least three years with the Navy• Experience executing funds in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)• Knowledge of the Navy's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes and policies• Ability to work independently and with a team and often under short, multiple deadlines• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint• Knowledge of NAVSEA and/or Team Submarine policies and procedures• Familiarity with rules governing the different Navy Appropriations
