Senior Accounting Manager
We are actively looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing team in the Building Materials and Construction industries. The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for the direct supervision of all accounting and financial functions, including supervision of the monthly close process, billing clients for services provided, account receivables & payables, budget preparation, quarterly tax projection and annual tax return preparation along with treasury administration.

Responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Manager:
* Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
* Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
* Keep the register, budgetary, and accounting control of the office (amortizations, depreciation schedule for book and tax purposes, differential, provisions, surrender, etc.)
* Ensure the updating of documentation and tax applications and evaluate possible effects on the operation and new businesses.
* Assist and prepare tax returns, as well as monthly income tax computation or property tax submissions, with the support of tax advisors if necessary.
* Assist and prepare financial statements (ex. monthly cash flow statement) if necessary.
* Assist and support on auditing processes if necessary.
* Establish and implement management control tools for the office.
* Support the Administration Manager in the budget preparation and control.
* Execute administrative processes and payment to selected suppliers, including posting entries into corporate ERP system.
* Monthly reviews and coding of expenses into ERP system.
* Improve communication, transparency, and planning by preparing an analysis of monthly reporting of administrative-related KPIs. Derive recommendations from data to correct areas of deficiency and drive positive business results.
Requirements of the Senior Accounting Manager:
* Minimum 5+ years of Accounting and Financial experience required
* Bachelor's in business administration, accounting, or finance preferred
* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
* Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
* Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
* Experience with inventory reconciliation and movement is a plus
Good GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
* Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with service providers
* Meticulous, detail orientation, as well as the ability to grasp the big picture
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite , ERP/MRP software
