What you'll do:
Joining us as a Senior Accountant means becoming an essential part of the ITS Finance team, supporting Hospital Support Center (HSC) Information Technology Departments and various business lines. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining control over general ledger accounting, assisting with monthly closings, and conducting account analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly ITS and Intercompany accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage, maintain, and reconcile expense allocations in various prepaid, ITS, and Facility accounts, including amortization schedules and journal entries.
- Offer recommendations and assist with financial presentations and budget-related tasks.
- Conduct data pulls to fulfill business needs using various accounting software and platforms (such as Business Objects, SAP, and Oracle).
- Generate monthly financial reports, including budget variance analysis.
- Assist in month-end and year-end operations and reporting.
- Uphold accounting controls by adhering to company policies and procedures, including capitalization guidelines.
- Aid in developing business cases and profitability analyses for ITS projects.
- Provide support, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis as required to facilitate internal and external audits.
What you'll need:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPA preferred but not required
