Position Summary The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements, bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, maintenance of fixed asset records, financing modeling and assist with analysis for multiple entities/services assigned.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Preparation of monthly journal entries for all communities and operating entities assigned. Collect and review all applicable information from source documents to support journal entries. Preparation of account reconciliations assigned. Complete timely and accurately and prepare journal entries as necessary. Maintain fixed asset and capital budget subsidiary ledger. Ensure timely and accurate entry of all capital expenditures and disposals. Assist in preparing and maintaining capital budget/capital plans. Reconcile to general ledger and prepare journal entries as necessary. Assist finance staff as requested in the preparation of audit work papers, cost report work papers, budget, and other projects and analysis as assigned. Assist with financial modeling and other analysis for various entities and services as assigned. All other duties as assigned or as area of responsibility indicate. Position Requirements Minimum Education: bachelor's degree in accounting P Minimum Applicable Experience: 2 years related work experience.
