CereCore is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, TN . Position summary
As a Senior Accountant, you will ensure contract administration accuracy and compliance, support management with reporting on practice operations, hold responsibility for financial statements used by enterprise leadership to ensure development, implementation and evaluation of standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and review work completed by staff accounting team Review monthly journal entries and account analysis to ensure accuracy Compose month over month market variance explanations Interact with various internal and external stakeholders Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Review and approve requests for Provider payments Mentor/Lead a team of accountants Provide technical trainings for your team Exercise professionalism to meet department established deadlines Maintain relationships with your peer team, field team & hospital teams Identify areas for continued process improvements Requirements Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting or other business-related fields 5 years of progressive accounting experience w/ supervisory experience Must be willing to work in office 3 days a week (remotely on Mondays and Fridays) We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
