Program Description:
The NGA Defender contract aims to deliver advanced cybersecurity capabilities and services. These include Cybersecurity Risk Management, Automation and Optimization, and Cyber-Supply Chain Risk Management, among others. This program supports the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) by providing strategic risk management services to mitigate cyber threats to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

What you will be working on:
As the Security Controls Assessor, you will:
Perform activities for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of new systems within the NIST SP 800-53 framework. Provide Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) to assess and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework. Assess the management, operational, and technical security/privacy controls employed within IT systems to determine overall control effectiveness. Support Security Control Assessments and aid government customers and system owners in managing and securing their IT environments. What you will bring to us (Must): Bachelors + 4 years of related experience or equivalent Active TS/SCI Clearance IAT Level III DoD 8140 (previously DoD 8570) certification, such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP. Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired): Experience with Xacta / Xacta 360 for categorizing, updating, and monitoring controls. Thorough understanding of NIST SP 800-53 security controls and the security authorization process. Experience with creating, managing, and monitoring Authority to Operate (ATO) as part of the A&A process.
