Responsibilities
• Conduct counseling sessions individually and in groups to address emotional and behavioral issues.• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop effective intervention plans.• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.• Offer training and education on mental health topics to school personnel and students.• Facilitate activities and provide interventions for consultation, skill-building, and psychoeducation.• Participate in school meetings and make referrals for services and supports.• Foster constructive relationships between the school, families, and the community.• Tailor services to meet the unique needs of each school.• Ensure students receive the support and guidance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences (social work, counseling, or psychology).• Flexibility and adaptability to school policies and schedules.• Ability to work remotely when needed.• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
