Sales Supervisor- Year Round

About Us: Jennifer Miller is a rapidly growing boutique jewelry company, headquartered on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We currently have 5 boutiques: Upper East Side, Southampton NY, East Hampton NY, Palm Beach Florida and Southbeach Miami. Jennifer Miller specializes in fine and faux jewelry and accessories for the chicest women in the world!
Responsibilities We are looking for Sales Supervisor for our East Hampton & Southampton locations for Year Round Employment. They must be flexible to work in both locations as the business needs.
The Sales Supervisor is a valuable member of the Jennifer Miller team. This person will contribute to the team in the in the following capacities: -Consistently meet or exceed the financial, operational, and visual expectations of Jennifer Miller.
-Achieve an environment for our clients that is reflective of the Jennifer Miller aesthetic and company values.
-Develop a comprehensive level of product knowledge and successfully translating this information to our clients.
-Generate sales through effective client building and contributing to the growth of the Jennifer Miller client base.
-Consistently maintain upbeat energy and pace on the sales floor.
-Maintain a high level of awareness and concern for inventory control and loss prevention.
-Contribute to the operations of running a retail store.
-Act as the manager on duty when needed
-Assist with filling web sales and website customer service support during off peak season.
-Travel to trunk shows across the US
-Assist with trunk show planning, host communication, pulling collections, and sales paperwork as needed.
Requirements: This position requires about 70% selling and sales/people management and 30% operational management.
This role requires travel to trunk shows and other store locations as needed.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Retail Experience.
Bonus Points: Knowledge of jewelry and accessories is a plus Shopify experience is a plus Prior trunk show experience is a plus
