Responsibilities
• Greet and acknowledge customers in a friendly manner• Handle merchandise with care• Provide information, assistance, and direction to customers• Demonstrate products to customers• Replenish product on shelves• Maintain knowledge of advertised sales and pricing• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves• Restock merchandise as required• Keep work area clean and well stocked• Promote programs and assist customers in making buying decisions
Requirements
• High School education or equivalent experience• Ability to calculate figures and make change• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
