Do you possess prior sales experience within a Machine Shop setting? An exceptional opportunity awaits a Sales Manager aspiring to establish their career within the Niagara Region. This role offers professional growth, a competitive compensation package, and an RRSP matching program Responsibilities: Oversee the sales team, providing direction and support to ensure business objectives are achieved. Motivate and guide the sales team, fostering a culture of growth, productivity, and excellence. Assist Sales Representatives in the preparation of quotes and proposals, while skillfully negotiating sales agreements with clients. Monitor production capacity, ensuring optimal productivity and efficient sales flow. Chair meetings, liaising with Production Team, Plant Scheduler, Plant Manager, and Ownership to maintain smooth operations. Conduct regular reviews of job profitability and quality, communicating relevant feedback to the Continuous Improvement Team. Ensure that customer expectations are exceeded, and inbound leads met, by providing diligent support and care to existing clients. Develop new business prospects through rigorous lead generation, cold calling, and networking initiatives. Foster strong relationships with existing and potential clients, through timely communication, site visits, and participation in industry events and trade shows. Facilitate travel as required across North America (same-day turnaround). Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a robust understanding of industry developments. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the machine shop industry. Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales role. Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of machine shop processes and capabilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel (day trips) and attend trade shows (approx. 1 week/year). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Duration: Permanent Location: St. Catharines
