Position Overview:
Join us as a Field Sales Engineer and play a pivotal role in propelling revenue growth within the automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors. As a key member of our team, you'll leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to identify opportunities, tailor solutions, and cultivate enduring client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, analyze competitors, and stay abreast of industry trends.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market share.
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients through consistent communication and on-site visits.
Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to key stakeholders.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and unparalleled customer satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, prioritizing profitability and client contentment.
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process and post-implementation phase.
Stay informed about industry advancements, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies effectively.
Create persuasive proposals and accurate cost estimates, highlighting our unique value proposition.
Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights within CRM systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Experience in automotive manufacturing paint shops or equipment sales in this realm is preferred.
Demonstrated success in B2B sales, particularly within capital equipment or industrial manufacturing.
Proficiency in water and wastewater equipment and machinery utilized in industrial settings, including RO systems, pumps, pressure filters, hydrocyclones, dissolved air flotation, and sludge dewatering.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong strategic thinking skills, coupled with a results-driven mindset and adeptness at managing multiple projects concurrently.
Outstanding interpersonal abilities and a client-centric approach to sales and relationship management.
Familiarity with CRM software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools is beneficial.
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
Location in the Southeast United States or Southeast MI, with convenient access to major airports, is acceptable.
