We are looking for an experienced Sales Director from the medical equipment industry who will lead our sales department in meeting company goals. This person will formulate and execute strategic plans, manage distribution and partner channels, negotiate contracts, grow revenue and achieve targets, lead sales team, stay up to date with product, service, market, and industry knowledge, and more. We're looking to add this key player to complete our expansion team. We offer competitive pay with commission, great benefits, and bonus!
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to enhance market presence and capture a larger share within the medical/healthcare sectors of the U.S. market
- Establish and oversee the distribution channel and cultivate relationships with business partners, ensuring effective collaboration and optimized distribution of products/services
- Engage in contract negotiations with distribution partners and other relevant business entities to establish mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives
- Drive revenue growth initiatives to achieve sales targets and personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the company's management team
- Be familiar with products and be able to effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers and partners
- Stay abreast of industry trends, news, and developments, conducting thorough analysis to identify and evaluate potential opportunities for business expansion
- Provide leadership, management, and direction to the sales team, guiding them toward achieving sales and profit objectives established by corporate management and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10 years of medical equipment sales/business development experience
- 5 years of experience in the medical support surface and/or pressure relief industry
- Proven record of success in channel and business development from planning to execution
- Deep understanding with insight to the medical/healthcare industry and ecosystem
- Ability to uncover business needs, and create and fulfill ambitious goals
- Ability to utilize personal network in developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential business partners
- Highly motivated individual who maintains and sets high standards for self & the team
