ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented, Sales Development Representative to increase sales and expand our business. As a Sales Development Representative your duties will include identifying new clients and closing sales, establishing professional industry networks, and maintaining valued customer relationships.  To be successful, you should demonstrate experience in sales, develop an in-depth knowledge of our company service offerings, and educate prospects about the benefits of using our services. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Present our Accounting & Advisory Services to small and mid-size businesses.  Prospect through phone, email, social selling, networking, and trade shows.  Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue. Move prospects through a clearly defined sales process to close.  Attend networking events & develop channel partnerships.  Develop and sustain solid relationships with clients.  Analyze and expand business operations toward sustained growth. Work with the sales and marketing teams to evaluate and improve sales processes. Collaborate with company stakeholders and staff for strategy creation, proposal development, client onboarding and ongoing relationship management. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree preferred.  Some experience in B2B sales, preferably in a service-based industry – or a desire to work in a B2B sales role for the first time.  Tech savvy: embrace and learn new software with ease! Effective communicator with strong business acumen and the ability to engage with small business owners and C-suite executives.  Upbeat, confident, and friendly personality. Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior. Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships. Competency in negotiating and closing business deals. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. WORK LOCATION: 
Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every business day. This position will report daily to our Durham, NC office. Opportunities to work remotely are made available on a regular basis. All the necessary office equipment needed to perform this job will be provided (computer, software, and phone and mileage allowance).  WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
This is a full-time position. Depending on your experience, you will receive a base salary of $45,000-$60,000 plus commission and bonuses . (First-year outside sales roles are expected to make $75,000-$85,000 , second-year executives from $95,000-$130,000 , and third-year executives - much more!). Excellent career and income opportunities exist for someone who will grow with us!   Some overnight travel (10-15 days a year) should be anticipated as we attend trade shows and events to grow our business. We primarily target new business through phone calls, emails, and social selling. We also develop close networking relationships to further our business strategy. BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH US
