As a Sales Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to grow top-line sales
You will be expected to plan and implement sales by developing strategies, cultivating new and existing relationships with dealers, and executing timely follow-up and problem resolution for the company and its customers
Your efforts will be directed toward driving profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and expanding the company's share by implementing and driving strategic account development and growth.
You will develop and manage new and existing customer accounts, build and foster business relationships, utilize solution-selling techniques to identify business needs, develop customized solutions, and measure performance.
Thorough, professional, and effective communication with both Hinkle teammates and our customer base must be maintained.
This position requires effective time management and occasional travel, when necessary. Core Responsibilities and Essential Qualifications Be responsible for existing customer relationships and spend substantial time cultivating new long-term, strong relationships with key decision-makers via effective organization and efficient planning. Become an expert in our range of products by knowing and thoroughly understanding the complete Hinkle product line to help build, refine, and maximize sales efforts. Skillfully communicate and negotiate with customers regarding Hinkle pricing, shipping/freight, delivery times, packaging/packing a pallet, order terms, and payments to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products. Through direct calling, email, and other contact efforts you will identify, qualify, and generate new profitable business opportunities
You must enjoy talking on the phone and appreciate that a live conversation is far more valuable than an email exchange when identifying interest and connecting with a new prospect
Strong grammar and spelling skills are important. Create proposals, pricing, and quote decisions for current and potential customers. Provide customer service, follow-up, and support to build deep relationships with customers. Monitor market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to refine our products and services, ensuring they remain competitive in the market. Attend trade shows as necessary. Interact with other departments to resolve challenges to improve the customer experience and ensure customers receive high-quality customer service. May perform other duties as assigned. The following items are important to success in this position: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related sales position. College degree or equivalent work experience in addition to verifiable sales experience. High energy, initiative-taking person with excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and milestones. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions. Strong computer skills including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience in order to manage the sales and customer communication process. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Team player; positive attitude; self-starter; pleasant and engaging personality. Furniture and/or home décor industry experience is strongly preferred. Strong project management experience preferred.
