Responsibilities
• Service, maintain, repair and install new and existing welding robotic equipment (FANUC)• Troubleshoot problems with robots and welding processes and ability to fix and correct issues• Support Production and Quality teams in achieving World Class Manufacturing• Perform preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment• Verify conformance to specifications for equipment installation and testing• Complete repairs, modifications, and installations as required• Troubleshoot process problems and complete quality improvements• Establish cross functional teams for reliability issues• Deal extensively with production team, support groups, and vendors• Support testing, repairing, and calibrating electric or electronic components
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of Fanuc robotic production support using a FANUC teach pendant• Robotic MIG, spot, and material handling experience preferred• Fronius and BOSCH robotic welding background preferred• Knowledge and ability to use a voltage meter• Background with robotic dress packs preferred• Background in troubleshooting welding issues with a robotic MIG welder and robotic SPOT welder preferred• Experience with robotic adhesive and sealer programming preferred• Background in projection welding and stud welding preferred• Must be able to work overtime and shift rotation• Ability to work in varying elements and heights up to 40 feet• Ability to lift equipment up to 40 lbs multiple times• Valid passport is required
