Required Skill/ability 1: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency as it relates to the use of an EMR, Outlook email, and other computerized databases.
Required Skill/ability 2: At least 2 years in a medical/surgical setting, critical care setting, preferably in a hospital or outpatient/ambulatory facility.
Required Skill/ability 3: Competent clinical triage skills and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. Current CPR.
Required Skill/ability 4: Evidence of maintenance of professional skill and competency, attendance at educational programs such as seminars and workshops that are appropriate to the field.
Required Skill/ability 5: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
Preferred Education: Demonstrated experience in an in-patient hospital unit in relevant specialty. Experience in Immunizations administration as well as administration of medications. Active membership in professional organizations.
