Job Description The Lead Retail Cashier's core purpose is to deliver an exceptional customer experience through flawless execution of daily operations within the space. Leads open and close the building, ensure high service and quality levels and proper task and position deployment while leading shifts and serve each guest to Aramark's high standards. Additionally, leaders perform the other responsibilities as outlined within the associate's roles and set the example for great performance within those roles.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.00 to $17.25, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities • As the Service Lead, as assigned, by executing proper position and task (breaks) deployment, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional experience in the service, speed, quality, and cleanliness of their visit.
• Model effective, appropriate communication with customers and fellow coworkers. When necessary, de-escalate and resolve conflict.
• Perform opening and closing routines, ensuring the building and team is set up and prepared to delight our customers from open to close.
• Act as the Cash Controller, ensuring accurate cash records and reconciliations are performed and all cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Protect Aramark assets by following all operating procedures.
• Respond to operational issues during the shift, notifying the Manager of equipment outages
• Complete operational directives such as operational checklists
• Execute Operational and Customer Service Training for new hires
• Communicate all relevant information to the management team in order to ensure smooth shift hand-offs and overall effective operations. 
• Direct Work: Provide direction, delegate, and remove obstacles to get work done.
• Demonstrate Adaptability: Adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.
• Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service, with a customer-first and quality-focused mentality.
• Carry themselves professionally, be agile and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Have strong time-management and delegation skills.
• Posses good problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Be an excellent communicator, relating well to customers and fellow employees at all levels.
• Be extremely reliable and punctual. 
• Perform various physical tasks during the work shift. 
• Be able and willing to work all locations when needed and as scheduled.

Qualifications • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting retail items up and down stairs
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
