Retail Pharmacy Technician

Job summary
This position will support Banner Family Pharmacy – Specialty Care.Responsibilities include entering and setting up orders, non-clinical assessments, and working with specialty pharmacists.Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities
• Review and interpret prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.• Prepare and dispense medication accurately to patients.• Answer phones and communicate with patients in the waiting area.• Assist with inventory and maintain a clean work environment.• Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure.• 0-2 years relevant work experience.• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to complete mathematical calculations.• Ability to attend and complete 160 hours of on-the-job training.
