Job summary
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a motivated individual to support the development of immunotherapy for cancer.

Responsibilities
• Processing and cryopreservation of human blood and bone marrow samples• Flow cytometry evaluation of incoming samples• Screening patient samples for protocol eligibility and responses• Maintaining records and organizing and reporting test results• General support of various projects in the laboratory• Ordering, lab maintenance, and quality control activities• Performing in vitro immunology cellular and molecular assays• Learning new techniques as required• Assisting post-doctoral scientists• Analyzing, organizing, and presenting data
Requirements
• BA/BS in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields• Scientific knowledge and basic laboratory skills• Independent research experience• 2 years previous experience for Research Technician II• Preferred experience in bench research, cell separation, tissue culture, molecular techniques• Strong communication skills• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism
