Join us.Team IntroductionThe AML Machine Learning System team combines system engineering and machine learning to develop and operate massively distributed machine learning training, inference systems and services around the world. You'll have the opportunity to build and enrich your expertise in coding, performance analysis and large system management, and get heavily involved in the process of hardware/capacity decision-making.We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.Responsibilities- Participate in the research and development of machine learning training frameworks for AML, serving various products across the company.- Participate in the abstraction, design, optimization, and implementation of underlying components of machine learning training frameworks.- Collaborate with the company's algorithm department to jointly optimize algorithms and systems for key projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a MS or above degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or related fields.- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python languages in the Linux environment.- Experience with at least one machine learning framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch/MxNet or other self-developed frameworks).- Background knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: GPU programming, compilers, high-performance networks, distributed storage, cluster scheduling.Preferred Qualifications:- Strong curiosity, excellent learning, and communication skills.ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. ?For Pay Transparency?Compensation Description Intern (hourly)The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $42.75- $42.75. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.?
