Position Title: Research Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
As a Research Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of research projects by evaluating protocols, coordinating agreements, and managing budgets. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to collaborate will be essential in facilitating successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate protocols and project proposals to assess feasibility, compliance, and potential legal issues.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop statements of work and project proposals.
Create project budgets accounting for all costs and obtain price quotes from service providers.
Negotiate contract language and payment terms to meet legal and financial requirements.
Coordinate meetings to ensure alignment on project requirements and regulatory compliance.
Maintain project documentation, including calendars and progress updates in databases.
Resolve contract and budget-related issues and assist in the development of departmental tools and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in research or a related field.
Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
