Research Associate - Dept of Oncology
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Associate - Dept of Oncology at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
* Liaison between academic researchers and community partners/consultants/organizational partners in Detroit and throughout the state of Michigan
* Development of outreach strategies to engage community and healthcare stakeholders in research
* Support of behavioral research in negotiating practical and regulatory barriers across multiple clinical sites and organizational
* Management and oversight project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures for select research projects
* Literature reviews, data collection, report writing
* Data management and data analysis
Qualifications:
* MPH degree or Master's in Psychology or similar field is required
* Two or more years working in a grant-funded research setting
* Experience analyzing data (R, SPSS)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Experience working with diverse populations
* Work well with community members, cancer patients, and clinical and research staff
* Possess critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and exceptional interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Demonstrate sound professional judgment and the ability to maintain confidential information
