Remote Pr Associate

Job Description:PPG Industries is seeking a dedicated and resilient Remote PR Associate to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This part-time position at the Associate level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations or a related field. As a Remote PR Associate, you will be responsible for managing and executing public relations campaigns, developing media relationships, pitching stories to journalists, and writing press releases and other communications materials.

Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts- Pitch stories to journalists to secure media coverage- Write press releases, blog posts, and other communications materials- Monitor and analyze media coverage- Assist with crisis communications as needed

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations or a related field- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Emotional intelligence and the ability to analyze and respond to different situations effectively- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and media monitoring tools
