Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Staples is seeking a remote accountant to join our team in Austin, Texas. This position is part-time and entry-level, making it the perfect opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks- Prepare financial statements and reports- Assist with budgeting and forecasting- Reconcile bank statements and transactions- Ensure compliance with tax regulations- Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects- Provide support to the finance department as needed

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Team player with a cooperative attitude
