Regional Director of Therapy Operations

The CommuniCare Family of Companies has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader as a Regional Director of Therapy Operations for the our Midwest Division, which spans Southern Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio.

Qualifications:

+ Licensed as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or CCC-SLP

+ Bachelors degree preferred

+ Must have multi-site management experience

+ 2-5 years of management experience preferably in a skilled nursing facility

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Good organizational skills

+ Must be able to travel as necessary

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Assures all patient needs are met, treatment is well-documented, good outcomes are achieved and the therapy departments operate efficiently, during site visits

+ Provides in-services and training to staff as requested

+ Functions as a resource for clinical program and caseload development

+ Develops educational materials for rehab departments

+ Provides documentation and billing training

+ Completes Quarterly Documentation Audits for each facility

+ Schedules conference calls /meetings with therapy directors for communication and training as needed

+ Participates in responses to any denied therapy claims

+ Assures the clinical, operational and financial success in each designated facility

+ Achieves optimal practice performance of therapy department through mentoring, problem-solving, brainstorming and supervising the therapy director

+ Visits all assigned facilities, with availability to therapy directors and facilities via phone and email on an ongoing basis

+ Participates in operations review calls with senior management

+ Participates in other senior management functions as needed to assure company success
