Responsibilities
Operational planning, budgeting, and monitoring to ensure financial stability
Ensuring operational progress toward accomplishing operational and strategic goals
Ensuring that structure and systems promote interdisciplinary care and coordination among other departments and services
Ensuring that appropriate service policies and procedures are developed and implemented to accomplish identified outcomes
Assuming a leadership role in the development of relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and other community, faith based and social service agencies as appropriate.
Monitoring income and actual vs. budgeted expenses on a regular basis.
Providing the vision to react positively to future challenges and opportunities with goals for growth of the organization in terms of patent access and related services.
Ensuring organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements, including appropriate data collection and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, Master's degree preferred
Three or more years hospice leadership experience
Ability to educate, lead and inspire others
Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills
Growth oriented, with knowledge or business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards
Commitment to clinical documentation excellence and quality
