Responsibilities
• Drives CCL box truck and picks up donations of furniture and other household goods• Delivers/sets up furniture and household goods in homes of soon-to-arrive refugees• Gathers and provides necessary household goods for newly arriving refugee clients• Works with In-Kind Coordinator to distribute donations to clients• Maintains inventory of available items• Maintains logbook and vehicle per established procedures• Works as a case management team member• Documents all substantial contact with clients in case files and computer databases• Attends staff meetings and community meetings• Performs other related tasks as assigned
Requirements
• Associates degree is preferred, but high school diploma or GED is required• Two years of work experience preferably with people of various cultures• Must be at least 18 years of age• Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record• Ability to speak languages commonly spoken by current refugee populations preferred• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends• Proficient in PC skills• Must be people oriented and relate to a varied ethnic population• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
