This includes Operator fundamentals training, plant-specific training, and qualification, refresher/compliance training, etc.Operates, monitors, and troubleshoots industrial-scale furnaces, pumps, compressors, valves, and other mechanical equipment used in refining crude oil into finished products.Performs other assigned duties such as maintenance repairs, equipment lock-out/tag-out, laboratory samples, training, and emergency response.Demonstrates ability to effectively solve problems. Able to grasp complex issues and apply good problem-solving skills to develop and implementrecommendations/solutions.Effectively troubleshoots and resolves equipment and process malfunctions.Establishes positive working relationships. Military experience is counted as work experience.Must be able to work a rotating schedule (12-hour shift "DuPont schedule" including night shifts, weekends, and holidays) to support a 24-7-365 operations facility.Must be able to work additional and unscheduled overtime as required.This is a safety-sensitive position.
