12 Month Position Details: The Opportunity:
As part of the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture Student Success team, you will be responsible for developing innovative, proactive recruitment initiatives that inspire potential students to pursue degrees offered by the college. You will be responsible for coordinating recruitment activities including but not limited to coordinating on-campus recruiting events, leading visits to community colleges, coordinating the college Student Ambassadors program, and meeting with prospective students and their families on an individual basis. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience developing strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues, faculty, students, and external constituencies.
Demonstrated experience coordinating student activities and events.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and conducting recruitment activities.
Evidence of successful experience with programmatic organizational skills; planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Evidence of ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues and constituents.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - both oral and written.
Excellent organizational skills.

Monthly Salary: $4,061.90 - $6,092.84 | In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range. For additional information, please review WSU's Administrative Professional Compensation .
