Rebar Detailer

Material supplier for construction industry is looking for individuals to train as rebar detailers / project managers -or- hire experienced rebar detailers with proper compensation to match experience. Rebar detailing is a pivotal responsibility between the design and construction phases of all projects. It combines basic drafting skills with the ability to communicate clearly with design and field personnel, making this role a dynamic career opportunity. Detailer will utilize computer Microstation and "aSa" (CAD/detailing) software to create placing plans serving as a team member on larger projects and individually as a team leader on smaller, less complex projects. Applicant should have excellent basic math skills, be organized, be detail oriented, be able to communicate clearly and patiently with contractors, and be eager to learn. Ability to read construction plans is helpful, but not required – we will train the right people.
