Quality Audits Performs chart audits on selected cases for Medical Staff peer review Monitors trend and participate in the determination of need for further assessment and improvement. Using appropriate criteria reviews chart documentation to justify patient care in order to meet regulatory requirements. Assists Director in medical record audits in preparation for Medical Staff meetings. Follows established procedures for obtaining and utilizing medical records. Chart review data collection forms are created to extract the minimum information necessary to obtain the needed information. Enters unusual occurrence reports into database and notifies Directors as needed including follow up with responsible parties. Prepares unusual occurrence reports with Risk Management. Prepares drill down reports as requested. Recommends improvement teams as needed. Other Provides Case Management clinical coordination for identified population upon request.
