Snap-Tite Hose is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join its team! As one of the largest fire hose manufacturers globally, Snap-Tite Hose has built a reputation on engineering and manufacturing the industry's best fire hose, in addition to industrial large diameter hose and tough agricultural and drag hose. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any product quality issues prior to shipment. The salary range for this position is $17-$18/hr based on experience.
Responsibilities Work within ISO 9001 environment Knowledge and operation of measuring instruments and test equipment required for quality assurance Perform necessary in-process testing/verification and raw material testing. Maintain all testing and QA related records physically and electronically in a timely manner Work with production to provide consistent quality expectations, standards and goal awareness. Instrumental in ensuring Quality and Company goals are achieved Train employees on process and product requirements. Able to grasp technical concepts and work within given specifications Assist in/lead problem solving/root cause analysis and effective corrective action. Assist with test request/engineering testing. Perform roving process audits including ability to locate and compare to all applicable requirements. Perform unbiased disposition of in-process and finished product based on customer specifications and/or other requirements. Assist agency and government auditors. Work efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision. Keep work area/equipment clean and organized. Be a company advocate/ positive attitude Other tasks as assigned by QA Director Requirements High school diploma or equivalent education. Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Proficient in the use of standard measurement and inspection tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends.
