Nesco Resource is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician in Waterbury, CT. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Schedule is: Monday- Thursday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM. There is a rotating schedule where one employee will cover on Friday afternoon's every 3-4 weeks. Pay depends on experience. Duties & Responsibilities: Select, issue, & calibrate gages Create inspection plans & reports Implement processes to assure product quality Compile & analyze statistical data Advise others on technical matters Document inspection findings on reports & records Communicate with others on technical matters Inspect small precision parts for visual, dimensional, & functional requirements Instruct other employees in quality subjects Complete all other duties as assigned Qualifications: Knowledge of gauging equipment & techniques Proficiency using various precision measuring instruments Experience reading & interpreting technical drawings (including GD&T) Ability to follow test procedures & work instructions Knowledge of manufacturing processes Promote process Improvement Analytical skills Written & verbal communication on technical matters Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, & Outlook Must have strong attention to detail Must be organized and thorough Ability to work independently & with others Able to develop & maintain good interpersonal relationships Desire for excellence Must be reliable and responsible Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
