Four (4) years of related experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing o rganization is required . Proficiency in personnel computer skills (spreadsheet and word processing software) is required . ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain a quality program compliant with ISO 9001 requirements, including document control, inspection procedures, and corrective actions. Establish and monitor statistical process control programs, analyze process capability statistics, and recommend continuous improvement programs. Establish and monitor hold for inspection procedures to ensure nonconforming materials are properly identified and segregated. Supervise personnel responsible for quality control, including inspection of materials, performance of tests, and processing of scrap materials. Identify chronic defects, recommend corrective actions, and stimulate continuous improvement and employee involvement programs. Provide ongoing analysis of defect costs and customer complaints to inform plant and division quality managers of appropriate actions . Serve as the representative for the plant in dealing with customer complaints and quality problems, travel to customer locations as required , and coordinate corrective action plans. Design, implement, and coordinate training programs for managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure uniform quality standards and expectations are communicated.
