Summary The Projects Implementation Technician engages in modification or construction of new or existing spaces within MPG buildings for the purpose of increasing operation capabilities at sites. The tasks engaged in by the Technician may include (but are not limited to) forms of demolition, site clearing, framing, wiring, hanging drywall, plumbing, painting, flooring installation, ceiling grid installation, casework installation and HVAC ductwork installation. This position reports to the Projects Implementation Supervisor. This position requires travel to various sites within MPG in company vehicle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools Removing debris, garbage from sites Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment Assembling and breaking down barricades, ladders, and single-level scaffolding Assisting third party vendors as required Assisting with transport and operation of heavy tools and equipment Regulating walkways and pedestrian traffic at office locations Digging holes and trenches Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete Following all health and safety regulations Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience Education: High School Diploma
Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the field of construction or building trades.
Must have valid driver license and approved driving record.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Ability to work effectively within a team environment Clear, concise and persuasive writing and presentation skills Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills Decisive and capable of exercising good judgment under pressure Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentage. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software; proficient with Sage software; Microsoft Word Processing software and Athena or similar EMR software systems.
